Tenant FAQ
Is renters insurance required?
While renters insurance is not required, it is highly recommended to protect your personal property.
How do I pay my rent?
Rent can be paid via check or cash at our management office.
You may also mail or drop off a check to the property
management office. Rent is due on the 1st of each month and
considered late after the 5th unless otherwise stated in your
lease.
What happens if my rent payment is late?
A late fee will be applied after the 5th of the month as outlined in
your lease agreement. Continued late payments may result in
additional charges or lease violations.
How do I submit a maintenance request?
For maintenance issues, please contact the management office or
property manager to submit a request for repair.
What qualifies as an emergency maintenance issue?
Emergency situations include:
- No heat or air conditioning during extreme temperatures
- Major water leaks or flooding
- Sewer backups
- Electrical outages that affect safety
- Fire or carbon monoxide concerns
If unsure, please error on the side of caution and call the
emergency line.
Are utilities included in my rent?
Please refer to your lease agreement for specific details. In most
cases, tenants are responsible for utilities.
Can I have pets?
Pet policies vary by property. If pets are allowed, a non
refundable pet fee and/or monthly pet rent may apply.
Unauthorized pets are a lease violation.
How much notice do I need to give before moving out?
Most leases require at least 30 days’ written notice prior to your
move-out date. Check your lease for the exact terms.
What is the move-out procedure?
Before moving out, tenants should follow the steps listed in the Move-Out Checklist on our website.
A move-out inspection will be scheduled to assess the
condition of the property.
When will I receive my security deposit back?
Your security deposit will be returned within 30 days of your
move-out, minus any deductions for unpaid rent, damages, or
cleaning fees.
Can I decorate or paint the unit?
You may hang pictures or small décor items as long as any
damage is repaired upon move-out. Painting or significant
alterations are generally not approved but please contact your
property manager for further clarification.
Who should I contact for general questions?
For general inquiries or non-emergency issues, please contact
the property management office via phone or email during
normal business hours.
